Dear son, Here are a few proverbs I've invented to pass across very important messages. "A lizard in Lafia will still be a lizard in Lafiagi". This means that you'll always be who you are no matter where you go. If you're mediocre in Lafia you'd still be mediocre in Lafayette. You can not truly change except you decide from within to. Well if we were a reptilian family we'd be fire breathing dragons anyway not puny lizards. "That Loko and Lokoja sit on the same river Benue doesn't make them the same town" That you're going through the same situation with others doesn't mean you're the same. Heck you won't even have the same destination. Always bear in mind that you are unique. We learn everyday. Hope you have learnt something. Love Dad
