Tough Times Await You

Son,

We're in really tough times. That's why you've not heard from me in a while. That aside, I got a job that keeps me busy and pays me an honest man's wage.

Things in the country are not going anywhere good. The economy is in a recession and inflation is hard. People are suffering and finding it difficult to feed. Many people have not been paid for months. It is in this quagmire we find ourselves at the moment. To add to the mess, our president is ill and has not made any serious appearance in about a month.

Now you know what's up, bear in mind tough times will come upon you too. I'm not promising you a luxurious life however you're assured of a good life (which will not be devoid of tough times). What do you do when tough times come upon you?

1. Pray (for it to end or for the grace to live through it).
2. Prepare (tough times don't last because they could get tougher)
3. Innovate (look for extra sources of dough)
4. Adapt (make lifestyle changes that suit the prevailing economic condition)
5. Pray again
6. Be joyful

Simple, but they are the keys to weathering the storms.

God's grace, subway surfers: what's the connection?

I was in church yesterday for Bible study and it was so awesome I had to share. We studied God's grace which in Greek is Charis. Let me digress. I am a big fan of the game subway surfers and I have a score of about 255k to show for the countless hours I have put into the game. When I first launched the game a friend told me his highest score was about 80k, he further told me that he'd seen folks with scores in millions. My ultimate goal then became having a score of at least 300k. It seemed like a tall order. However with time I realised that there were boosts (like surfboards, score boosters, magnets and power ups) and aids to help me achieve my goal. I feel am in Ether. What's Ether? Actually the question should be "where is Ether?" It a place deep airy place in my mind that I retreat into when I meditate and have those out of the world floaty floaty thoughts. Here are my Top 7 song for the last week in random order. 1.
